I’ve had two dreams now about my boyfriend’s late wife, someone I never had the chance to meet. In the first dream, we were outside having a cigarette, and when my boyfriend walked to the door, we both just looked at each other, laughed, and started running. The second one, though, was strange—each time I woke up, the dream would pull me back in. She was in a swimming pool, giving birth, even though she had been in a coma. Suddenly, she woke up and told my boyfriend she needed a woman’s touch, and looked right at me saying, “YOU! I need you,” followed by some really sweet words. I could clearly see her face and she seemed so happy, walking around in the pool as if she was alive again. She passed away young, and they have an 8-year-old daughter. It was so vivid, like I could really feel the moment.
The first dream, where you laughed together, might symbolize acceptance or even a sense of peace between you and her memory. The second dream feels deeper—her asking for “a woman’s touch” and specifically choosing you could reflect your role in helping care for her family, especially her daughter. It might also symbolize a kind of unspoken blessing or encouragement for you to step into this blended family with love and confidence.
Dreams like this can be profound, almost like your subconscious is trying to help you process and honor the unique dynamics of your relationship. It’s beautiful that she seemed happy—it could mean you’re on the right path, offering love and support where it’s needed most.
