In my dream, I find myself in Denmark, where I believe I am living and working, though in reality, I am from the Mediterranean. While there, I encounter a girl from Kazakhstan whom I met long ago in real life—we share the same name. My brother is also present, and so is my mother, though I never actually see her.
At one point, I take a tram, and to my surprise, it swiftly transports me all the way to Reykjavik. An elderly woman sitting nearby strikes up a conversation and tells me that this tram’s route begins in Novi Sad, Serbia, then passes through Denmark before reaching Reykjavik. The tram itself has a charming, vintage aesthetic, with wooden seats and beautiful decor.
Once in Reykjavik, I visit a café, where I meet two friendly young women. We have a lovely conversation, and I promise to see them again the next day. As I leave, I forget my boots at the café but continue my journey. Back home, my brother borrows my epilation machine—something I would never lend out in real life.
The next day, I return to Reykjavik and reunite with the two women as planned. On my way back, I suddenly see everything from a bird’s-eye perspective. Below, on a ship, I notice fish struggling to return to the sea. The ocean has just begun to turn stormy, and while most of the fish manage to escape, two small ones remain trapped. Despite the storm, the sea looks stunningly blue and beautiful.
This dream reflects themes of movement, transformation, and subconscious exploration of identity. Denmark and Reykjavik, two places seemingly far from your Mediterranean roots, may symbolize new experiences, self-discovery, or a longing for adventure. The tram’s surreal journey, spanning multiple countries, suggests a metaphor for your life’s path—moving effortlessly between past and present, familiar and unknown. Meeting an old acquaintance with your name highlights self-reflection, while your brother borrowing something you usually guard closely could represent an internal shift in boundaries or trust.
The final vision of fish attempting to return to the sea is particularly significant. Water often symbolizes emotions, and the stormy sea suggests a period of emotional turbulence or change. Most of the fish succeed in reaching the water, but the two left behind might symbolize unfinished business or aspects of yourself struggling to find resolution. Despite the storm, the sea remains beautifully blue, hinting that even amidst chaos, there is clarity and beauty in the journey.
